"Thank you for such a beautiful and warm welcome to your country. I've unfortunately had to postpone tonight?s show in Tokyo. I came down with a virus on Friday and following a visit from doctors, I've been told not to perform tonight. I am very sorry to all my fans as I was greatly looking forward to the concert, but the situation is out of my hands. Along with the doctors, I'm doing all I can to ensure I will be better for tomorrow night's show and the rest of my time in Japan. We are planning to replay this show on Monday. I really hope you can make it. Love, Paul" --- 日本のファンの皆さん、心からの暖かい歓迎を本当にありがとう。 残念ながら今夜の東京での公演を延期しなくてはならなくなりました。 金曜日にウィルス性炎症により体調を崩し、今日のステージは無理だと医師に言われました。 僕もコンサートを楽しみにしていたので、この様になってしまった事を、ファンの皆様に大変申し訳なく思っています。 現在は医師の指示のもと、明日の公演と残りの日本ツアーが予定どおり行われる様に全力を尽くしています。 今夜の公演は月曜日に振り替えることが出来ました。 ご都合が合わない方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが、是非とも皆さんにお会い出来る事を願っています。 Love, Paul

Paul had postponed the Sheffield show in May 2003 due to illness. That show was rescheduled later in the tour. Feel better, Paul!!

Nope. Paul had previously postponed Japanese tour due to similar reasons, originally planned on 2 March 1990 and rescheduled 11 days later. I hope he'll get well soon.

I bet it's Godzilla's fault. He must have put something on Paul's food due to jealousy of Paul for invading Tokyo and being loved for it, unlike the negative reaction he got when he invaded San Francisco on the same day:

The health matters first and do really hope that Paul gets well. But so sad that I have to give up my VIP package ticket because I have to fly back tonight..... At least I can go to the tonight's show before leaving. My seattoday is very far from the stage, though.
