Am I the only one who actually liked those t-shirts?
Nope, I really like those shirts too. Actually, I liked the whole membership package. I was so excited to open that package when it arrived! I also liked the area on the website where you could review all the concerts (cities and set lists) for each touring year and add yourself if you attended a particular date. I had hoped they would eventually add more details like photos (maybe some fan photos), clips, press clippings, fan memories, or memorabilia.
I never even liked Abe's drumhead with that PMC logo on it. I even commented how childish it looked. Looks like it was done with duct tape. If they use the tape...gimme a fireman shirt!

This is fine with me. Just keep the information coming.

Hello friends! How do to come in new site, I wonder if it's with the same password, the same email that I did use before or have to register again? I think it's always good renew. Kisses.

I kept waiting for that Wings t-shirt that made a brief appearance on the website to actually become available. I would have bought that in an instance!

I KNOW! I emailed someone quite a few times right there in the beginning & even got some lame replies. She had said it wasn't available. I want it too!

I emailed someone too! First I kept trying and trying and then finally contacted someone who works for whatever company it is that handles the store/shop. I think the answer I got was something about they were looking into the problem. Shortly thereafter it disappeared from the site entirely. I wanted one of those RAM shirts in a big way too but found out they're all sold out. I was told that they may make more but were unsure of if and when.

I really like the poster that is now, no longer being distributed. And those^^^^ were some of the best features of the site. No more FAVORITES or, I WAS THERE buttons.
Ahh, that's what they were called "I WAS THERE" buttons. That was cool seeing who on the board attended shows. Would be a nice feature for people to add their stories, photos, etc. Sorry that it's gone now.

CAA:
I posted this info. earlier (pg. 8 of this thread!), but maybe it bears repeating. I paid $60.00 and became a Premium Member on Oct. 13, 2012 (under a different user ID, btw). So, 19 DAYS later, I'm told that all memberships are canceled. Why were they continuing to sell memberships at that late date? Could this decision to change things really have happened that quickly? Or, can the website administrators really be that inept? If Paul is ever told about the extent of this debacle, I think he'll be pretty embarrassed.
If you paid with your credit card, I would just call your card company and tell them nothing was delivered. You are actually one of the lucky ones, in that case

So if anyone actually DOES care what the fans want.... I would love the jukebox back. I enjoyed being able to just stream Paul tunes anytime anywhere. Yes, I have everything that was there but it isn't all in one convenient place. Also, make that compatible with iPhones so we can stream it anywhere! Videos--all of them! Tired of crummy youtube copies, my old Betamax tapes (seriously!) and other archaic methods of seeing stuff. There is so much great Paul stuff out there that cannot be seen anywhere (for example, I have the Paul on Saturday Night Live with Father Guido Sarducci--I have never seen that anywhere else in years). And films like "Rockshow"--again, I have some old Beta copy. Fans want this stuff! What I do not need is more films of current concerts. We have had plenty of those recently. Teasers about the upcoming album(s) would be awesome. A song, or video of Paul making part of it would get fans excited. Something from Paul himself. Not from a writer or some other mouthpiece but from *Paul*. He seems disconnected from the site and I am sure he has no idea about these decision. I expect he trusts whoever he hires to do a good job. I dont expect he is going to chat on the forums, but a message from him would be appreciated. I feel like the website is impersonal, especially now. During the Fun Club days, it felt very personal (because we knew Linda was running it and because the fans were very well treated). Right now, it feels like some website company is in charge, not Paul.

Yea, get a Jukebox app or a Maccaboard app. either one would be pretty sweet.

Seriously? He must already know...he's a businessman and this was probably, in fact, his decision. Paul's too switched on to let a decision like this be made without his knowledge. After all, those representing him as Admins of this site are working for him and are carrying out work in his name - he's not daft.
Yeah, seriously. Of course, he knows about this business decision. But, I don't think he knows how many of his fans feel deceived; he doesn't read this board - do you think he's being given an honest account of the reaction to this decision? I doubt it. I don't think he would be pleased at the way the decision was communicated and executed.

I miss some o the premium content like the extra videos and photos, they were cool. I enjoyed the timeline too! And what about the friends I could only contact here? And the radio and jukebox? They were so amazing! 8( My feedback abou the old site is pretty good, I loved it. And about the new one I don't know.

Just had an email about pre-ordering the kisses dvd, saying that we will get a free download. A download is the last thing I want, if anything I would want a dvd. Not as if they even give us the chance to offset the price of the digital download against a dvd. Must admit my main reason for joining was the possibility we might get a chance to get a decent ticket at shows, which was a fiasco. For the RAH we got better tickets taking our chances in the public sale and had to sell on the lousy tickets I got though being a Pioneer member. Thought it might be just a little bit like the good old Fun Club. What a waste of money ( We were mugs.

since it never came out of the beta stage are we legally entitled to a refund ???

A big 'thank you from paulmccartney.com", more like a big "**** you"...!! Ah, the excitement of the new site a year ago - watching the promo videos of all the work with HP - lots of exciting content promised - would be building up - expectations of seeing rare photos, seeing rare videos, hearing rare songs, whole collection being digitized so loads of stuff to share with the fans... I happily paid the premium membership - and quickly - as I wanted to be a pioneer member - a lifetime title apparently - got my pack of unimpressive t-shirt, choice of free download of albums I already had (being a fan I have them!!!), promise of extended membership without extra charge as the site was in beta. Kept regularly checking the premium members area - after a while I gave up as there was rarely anything new on there - maybe HP hadn't bothered doing their job or maybe it was too much trouble sharing with us... Obviously any pre-sales were irrelevant to me - Paul only seems to play shows everywhere else except the UK now - if only I was in America eh?! This is all after the disappointments of the re-releases so far - very expensive -again, especially if you're in the UK - check the price differences - do a currency conversion like I did and look in horror at how the British fans are charged more. Even when I did buy them, you'd be lucky to get one or two rarities - maybe when a rarities box set is done at the end of the re-release schedule..which by my reckoning will be 2038! Or super super deluxe versions so I can buy "Band on the run" for the fifth time! So much has been discussed/mentioned/promised and so little has been delivered. Can't tell you how much I am wholly 1000% unimpressed and ashamed by how utterly amateur the whole website has been run..especially for an artist of Paul's stature. Once again, I have wasted money and time..but that's o.k - because the website has sent me an e-mail to say thank you for wasting my time and my money which makes it all fine then. What's the point..? Nothing will get done, nothing will change! Like they're really going to read through these replies and respond to feedback or make changes or alterations. Clearly the website was designed on the cheap by a couple of cleaners who work at HP rather than professionals who do it for a living... Rant over.
spot on big thumbs up

well, I think it's sad, that the premium features will last no longer. It was great fun and great stuff. But on the other hand it has to be honoured, that PaulMcCartney.com gives us "Live kisses" as special thank you. Other sites would have just said "thanks, no longer premium features".
