Scott Weiland Dead at 48
-
I could not believe when I read this headline on the internet this morning!!!! As John Lennon once said when a Rock Star passes on: "Another Rock n' Roll Warrior is gone!" In the 90's, Weiland was the Lead Singer of STONE TEMPLE PILOTS!! In the 2000's, Weiland was the Lead Singer in the super group VELVET REVOLVER with Former Gun's n' Roses alumni Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum!! R.I.P. Scott Weiland

RIP Scott Weiland *way too young,Hi hey_kittay! How are you? I hope all is well with you! Thank you for posting the "Fall To Pieces" video by VELVET REVOLVER. Now when I watch the "Fall To Pieces" video, I will never watch that video the same again! Watching it now, I will always think that "Fall To Pieces" is Weiland's cry for help!!! Take care.

There has been reports on the internet that Weiland may have suffered Cardiac Arrest while in his sleep. I admit, I have my doubts seeing that Weiland has had a long history of substance abuse. Weiland's younger Brother Michael, passed away from Cardiomyopathy at age 47. I will keep all of you updated when new information comes out.

Hey, well I am fine except for this sad news. How have you been? I know he dealt with the drug thing and hope anyone out there that knows someone through the same is compassionate and tries to help. We don't know though. Prayers and Love to his family and friends! Back to happier dayz when I first became a fan of STP: Wicked Garden ( and other songs)
* great music and happier times in my life.️That time in life you feel you are immortal and everything is beautiful and nothing is impossible.* -

There's a lot of tributes for Weiland on the internet as we speak!! I saw STP in their heyday in the 90's as well as Velvet Revolver in the 2000's, both bands were great to watch live!!!

An update!!! Police in Minnesota say they found Cocaine in the bedroom of the tour bus where Weiland was found dead. Weiland's current band, Scott Weiland & The Wildabouts were on tour in Minnesota at the time of Weiland's death.
-
Another update!!! According to the Bloomington Police Department, Weiland's bandmate in the Wildabouts, Tommy Black, has been arrested and faces charges for possession of a controlled substance (Cocaine).

I see the tributes to Scott. So many of people remember how much his music was a big part of their lives. Time flies so quickly! It is like yesterday I remember STP making their debut. Saw them in concert. So groovy! Damn drugs. Heavy ones are bad, just bad. Everytime I listened to a STP song today I had flashbacks of so many great times.️ He had two daughters, aged 13 and 11. They won't have a Dad now. Prayers for their little hearts.

Cocaine, Sleeping Pills, Other Drugs Found On Scott Weiland's Bus According to TMZ.com, a number of drugs were found on Scott Weiland's tour bus shortly after his death, including at least two bags of cocaine and the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra. The site obtained a copy of the search warrant the Bloomington, Minnesota police got to search Weiland's bus, and it shows they also found a generic version of Xanax; two different brands of sleeping pills; and buprenorphine, a drug that is supposed to stop the cravings and withdrawal symptoms that come with addiction. There was also ziprasidone, which is used to treat bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Scott was diagnosed as bipolar in 2001. The police also found a bag of "a green leafy substance," which is presumably marijuana. Everything except for the pot was found in a bedroom on the bus. The document doesn't indicate if it was the bedroom that Weiland was found dead in. A cause of death for the singer, who struggled for most of his adult life with drugs and alcohol, has yet to be determined. Police in Minnesota have said it could take "four to eight weeks" for the former Stone Temple Pilots frontman's toxicology report to come back. Hi johnnymain! How are you? Thank you for the update, I hope that Heroin isn't mentioned later. But then again, it wouldn't surprise me. Take care.
