I have a friend in a similar situation with her husband. It's very sad for her... Yes, it is tragic!!! As for your friend, I know where you're coming from!! I lost 6 friends to drug overdoses, they died so young too!
Hi jl4761...That's so sad for you! I think we all know of friends and family and losses. When someone is young, it's particularly tragic

Reading about the circumstances behind Scott's death made me cry. One thing : hard drugs are bad, and if you partied when you were young there is a point to realize you are older and it only takes one line to die. But those FDA "approved" drugs are dangerous. They are prescribed for the government to make money. The newer ones I am taking about. Mixed together look at that storm! Tragic is not enough of a description for his life. I prefer to remember these dayz: Plush:
Big Bang Baby: Scott was so handsome even lately. But look what drugs do to your appearence. Look at how beautiful he was before he kept doing them. I used to party here and there but it's not worth it! If you are reading this and you haven't done drugs don't! It's no fun unless your HIGH, and then you come down and it sucks. Just stay away from them and situations that involve drugs. Take it from someone who knows. I haven't even seen a line of cocaine since the year 2000. Don't care about drugs. They are boring! RIP Scott

hopefully people can learn from the mistakes of others.When my friends died, it really humbled me!! You never realize what you have until you lose it!!

When you see what drugs has done to your best friends and destroys them before your very eyes, its painful to see them rotting away and you can't do a thing for them.

I got to see him twice Once with velvet revolver for a free show. Had front row in the pit and he crowd surfed right by me And once with stone temple pilots It's a shame he couldn't fight off his demons RIP

Believe it or not, prescribed medications are just as dangerous as illegal drugs!!

Scott Weiland was a great frontman to watch on stage!! I saw him with Stone Temple Pilots as well as Velvet Revolver, he really knew how to communicate with the audience.

He had a pretty great "rock" voice, his sound a bit too heavy and deep for me, though, a bit too "hard rocki-ish," his vocal pipes. I thought it a real shame that here's yet another artist destroyed by drugs at a relatively early age. And so many don't seem to learn from it and "keep their hands out of the medicine jar," even a star like Prince, who had a reputation for healthy living.

Hi SusyLuvsPaul! How are you? I hope all is well with you and your family. Its such a tragedy that Weiland died so young! He still had so much more music inside of him to contribute in the Rock n' Roll world.
