XTC, did someone say XTC? I like them, NOT because they sound like The Beatles, heck sometimes they sound like the Beach Boys and Pink Floyd. Andy Partridge is a pure freaking genius. I've been a fan of theirs since 1989.

I really tried to get into XTC... but I`ve given up! One of the few highly praised/legendary bands I don`t understand. I guess, they`re a bit too dry for me.

I like Apples And Oranges,Nonsuch,English Settlement and the one w/Dear God,Skylarkin' .All their stuff is good..

All I can say is that "No Language In Our Lungs" is probably my favourite song to sing. EVER.

I just dropped in to see what everyone thought of them and to learn more myself. Truthfully I've just barely heard of them let along heard any of their songs. Must not be too popular here in the states.

Thats right! That was my first thought. Andy's voice sounds definetly like Macca.

I think they're an excellent band - pretty underrated... still a bit of a 'cult' band. I don't think anyone could listen to 'System Working Overtime' and not be hooked.
I'm also very fond of 'Making Plans For Nigel'.
