The tech team report they have addressed this issue now. There was a log jam of outbound e-mails due to issues with the system which meant for a long period no notifications would be despatched and then the log jam would clear and all back-dated e-mails would be sent in a mad rush. That has now been resolved so e-mail alerts should arrive in a timely manner as and when a topic alert or a private message is sent. Martin

When the he** is this site gonna get it together? Seriously. I had 99 replys in my inb ox...the majority were notifications & DUPLICATES. over & over & Over. comeon guys.

Well they normally do behave but seems like a few things around here are hiccupping. You had all the friend invites if I remember, Maccascruff.

Yes I did, but that had nothing to do with notifications. It had to do with the other site supposedly. One was from you.

yes, I remember you saying that at the time. No, of course it had nothing to do with notifications...it has to do with pm.com. " Technical" issues for both.
