If you could bring a dead rock star back to life

If you could bring a dead rock star back to life for one gig, who would it be? John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, Kurt Cobain, Buddy Holly, Freddie Mercury? Or someone else? Vote here http//www.thisdayinmusic.com/pages/stairway_to_heaven

John of course. Can't believe John Bonham, Freddy Mercury and Elvis are ahead of him.
-
Hi Greenpea and Nancy R! I wish the question would have asked for two dead Rock stars because then I can bring back John and George and have a one night BEATLES reunion. Then again, despite seeing E twice in the 70's, I wouldn't mind seeing E again.

Bonham and Mercury are dominating that poll.

Hi JordanOnTheRun! I have to admit, I wouldn't mind bringing back John Bonham so the mighty LED ZEPPELIN can reunite for a one night gig! Then again, LED ZEPPELIN already had a great one night gig at the 02 Arena in London, England on 10 December 2007 with Bonham's son Jason Bonham at the helm on Drums. Take care.

John Lennon George Harrison Robin Gibb Maurice Gibb Michael Jackson Whitney Houston Freddie Mercury

I do love a bit of Led Zeppelin and Bonham certainly did rock. I didn't realise how popular he was.

Hi JordanOnTheRun! LED ZEPPELIN's popularity in the 1970's and beyond is incredible! I would rank the late John Bonham in the top 3 all-time greatest drummers ever. Take care.

Let's just get DNA samples of Jimi and Elvis and clone 'em. Of course, I say that in jest.
-
Lennon of course! ...and George, Jimi, Janis, Jim Morrison, Elvis, and Freddie Mercury. Bonham and Keith Moon too!
-
Keith Moon also should come with John Entiwistle.

Hi JordanOnTheRun! That would be great also, I would love to see a one night WHO reunion.

Am sure that all of the musicians mentioned are probably laughing because they thought that this thread was about Keith Richards!
Does anyone remember the song...Rock and Roll Heaven by The Righteous Brothers?

Hi SurSteven! How are you? They're probably laughing more because Keith is still alive. Then again, Keith Moon probably drive his Roll Royce into God's swimming pool and made God mad! As for Rock n' Roll Heaven by THE RIGHTEOUS BROTHERS, I LOVE THAT SONG! Take care.

This is too hard of a question...can we use a "buy 1, get one free" coupon here?

That's gotta be the worst most tasteless poll in the history of polls!
