What Concerts are you going to this year?
-
Regarding The Who: They are still great! Pete and Roger can still crank it out. I drove to Atlanta from Kentucky in 2006 just to see them. Sure wish I could see them in this mini-tour, but the concert budget for this year is maxed out.

moonraker:
I'll be seeing The Who this month
I saw them in April in The Albert Hall performing an accoustic set and also met Roger. Hopefully they will tour the UK next year. I'm hopefully seeing Glasvegas and Kasabian when tickets go on sale but confirmed ones for the remaining part of this year include: Mighty Boosh (x2), The Killers at the Albert Hall, The Fratellis, The Zutons and Coldplay. I've already had a fantastic year of gigs.

I just got back from seeing Stevie Wonder, and it was the best show I have ever seen, the man is an absolute genius! He played, to the best of my memory: As If You Read My Mind Master Blaster I Can?t Help Myself (Four Tops cover) Did I Hear You say You Love Me All I Do Knocks Me Off My Feet Hello Goodbye / What's Going On (Beatles and Marvin Gaye covers, on Vocoder. Amazing) Higher Ground (Best song of the night, so intense and awesome) Spain (Chick Corea cover) Don?t You Worry About A Thing Visions Living For The City Part Time Lover Overjoyed Lately I?m Gonna Love Your Right Out Of My Life (sung by his daughter, Aisha Morris) (Nat King Cole cover) My Cherie Amour Signed Sealed Delivered Sir Duke I Wish Isn?t She Lovely You Are The Sunshine of My Life I Just Called To Say I Love You (duet with a contest winner) Superstition (so awesome) As

I think I saw Bob Dylan last night. Didn't recognize any of the songs. I think he sang dab a dab a do in every song. He a bit of a pretender now isn't he. Lights were so low I got to wonder how those in the back even saw him. His band rocked. he just sort of went along for the ride and I think he knows it. He didn't even sing Maggie's Farm. Not that I would of recognized it if he had. If Bob's tired of doing Bob Dylan maybe he should change his name again and call him self Robert Zimmerman Blues band. Give us a heads up to weather we want to spend the money on a new band or a legend.

I went to Madonna's Sticky and Sweet, on nov 6 at Dodgers stadium... really cool - I was able to get really wonderful seats thru the fan club pre sale - 13th row center , next to the catwalk - all kinds of celebrities around me - that of course didn't know most of them ... but the concert was great, as usual - great dance, music - special guests Britney Spears ( she looked a little nervous...) and Justin Timberlake...
-
I'll see Oasis next Saturday night
-
I am going to see the french singer Woelv tomorrow with Australian indie band I Heart Hiroshima.
-
I still can't believe it but i am going to see Take That next year. I'm so excited and can't wait. Every time I hear one of their songs on the radio, I remember and get all excited again. It's taken me about 10 years to do because with previous tours I've somehow managed to miss out on.

Last shows I attended were a week a part. I saw Sam Roberts* on November 6th, and then the following week on the 15th, I saw 54-40*. The next show I'm hoping to see is the Trews* on December 20th. Should be awesome. And then after that, this --> http://www.shipsanddip.com/* (*Canadian, and in the case of the link, at least 90% Canadian)
