Led Zeppelin 2014 Remasters

Well, Led Zeppelin dropped their first 3 albums on the public this week like lead balloons... All remastered by Jimmy Page...once again. But if you thought 2007's Mothership was as good as the Mighty Zep could sound, think again. This time I will say, BRAVO! These 2014 reissues in multiple formats sound amazing. It's like you are in the studio listening to them record the songs live. All of Led Zeppelin III is a revelation. The acoustic guitar work has been brought front and center, and you can even hear the beautiful tones echo off the studio walls. Plant's incredible vocals on The Immigrant Song and Since I've Been Loving You shine through loud and clear (and to my ear's delight, for once and for all, that annoying audible squeak on Bonham's rusty high hat cymbal has finally been "digitally" erased from Since I've Been Loving You!). But the best of all is the Bonus CD included in the Deluxe Led Zeppelin (I), Live at The Olympia (Paris 1969). Over an hour long live show of Zeppelin at an early peak, remastered with crystal clarity. It's a must have for any Zeppelin fan! We can only dream now of what a Zeppelin Reunion Tour would have been like, as Plant recently seems to have quashed that possibility for good. So I will wait with anticipation for their next three even better albums remastered, Led Zeppelin IV (ZOSO), Houses of the Holy, and Physical Graffiti! Beautiful job, Jimmy!

At least they got together at the o2 a few years back. I have Celebration DVD and CD. I enjoyed that. Great show. I've always liked Zep I. Is there a remastered compilation CD or Greatest Hits package coming out as well?

I've been listening to LED ZEPPELIN IV all day, I can't get over how great it sounds. In my opinion, the LED ZEPPELIN REMASTERS sound far better than the Japanese SHM versions. What do you think?
