Can't say I remember pop music from the last ten years. Maybe I've been listening to other music than pop songs? The last I can remember listening to on my stereo must be Nirvana and Oasis. And it's twenty years ago. I read an interview with Marianne Faithfull and she claimed that The Beatles were not really pop. That the whole '60s was a counter-culture movement. I understand what she means. And it's this that is the big "pop music" for me.

Yes it's worse, audi, you should be thankful you don't know "that one" (Bad Blood) it makes my ears bleed! --"Fight Song"--that song is pitiful, lacks any semblance of pugnacity, the singer sounds like a wussie and the song does too--compare "Fight Song" to anything by Chrissie Hynde, who really is completely kick A and rousing--I used to listen to The Pretenders to get psyched up to face something difficult like a job interview or such).
