I was on an AC/DC binge this past week at work, listening to them pretty much all day every day. So, when I heard about his passing yesterday I couldn't help but think what a strange coincidence. Very sad to hear this news, the older I get the more of my heroes are gone.

I have been an AC/DC fan since 1974, saw them live 5 times and own all of their albums. I was so sad upon hearing about Malcolm Young's passing. AC/DC has persevered from their toughest tragedy, finding a replacement for the irreplaceable late Bon Scott. In what would become one of the greatest comebacks in Rock history, Brian Johnson saved AC/DC by becoming the band's new Lead Singer. Brian's debut album with AC/DC would be the landmark 1980 album "Back In Black." And the rest is Rock n' Roll history! The next phase for AC/DC is to see whether Steve Young can take over Rhythm guitar duties full time and keep the AC/DC sound fully intact. LONG LIVE AC/DC! R.I.P. Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott - Born 9 July 1946, Died 19 February 1980 at age 33. R.I.P. Malcolm Mitchell Young - Born 6 January 1953, Died 18 November 2017 at age 64.

AC/DC along w/ Motorhead, Metallica, Megadeth & Iron Maiden are bands that never jumped the shark. True to playing rock 'n roll.

Very sorry about this. I didn't know until I saw this thread. I saw someone who reminded me of him yesterday.
