Au Revoir Simone
-
Over recent weeks.i've been getting into the muisc by the three piece New York band, Au Revoir Simone. Their deceptively simply but melodic synth-pop songs are very much recommended. As a taster, here's the video for their last single, 'Another Likely Story'
-
Been into them for a few years now. I love "Dark Halls" & "The Disco Song". Cute & catchy band
-
My fave track is 'The Way To There' followed by 'All Or Nothing'. The most encouraging thing though is that they are getting better with each album. The next one should be a killer.

jeeeze, people droppin' like flies, i read the title & immediately thought 'oh no, nina simone has died.' (which i guess she did, years ago?) anyways, thanx for turning me on to a supposedly cool new band

I must admit not to have thought of Nina, but yes, she passsed away back in 2003.

Three years on and Au Revoir Simone have a new album out, Move In Spectrums. Just an album track but this is gorgeous: 'Boiling Point'

Wasn't that one of the bands Moggy touted here, back when he posted here all the time
-
Possibly maybe?

i used to like them 6 or 7 years ago; i think I`ll give their new stuff a try

Hi, I don`t play in any band. the last band i played in that must have been around 2006 ha ha (and we were really terrible )... but i run a record Label and a Music Publishing Company; so if you`re asking if the bands that i`m managing have written and recorded many more Songs the answer is yes, many many Funnily enough one of "my" bands played with au revoir simone at a Festival last week, here in vienna (but i wasn`t there, was busy elsewhere; but I´`ve already seen au revoir simone in 2005 or 2006) ) This is the newest Project i`m involved with as a record Label/Music publisher:
