Austin singer Tish Hinojosa is maybe the biggest Paul McCartney fan in Texas and she recorded a beautiful Spanish version of Paul's "A Certain Softness" on her latest CD "After the Fair". She calls her translated version "Me Captivo Con Su Mirar." Any Paul fans in England can see Tish on March 3o at the Green Note in London. She'll also be in Essex, Dublin, and Galway in April. I saw her back in the '90s and loved her singing and her band's sound. I bought one of her CDs too. I'll have to check out her cover of Paul.

Just downloaded her version. Beautiful! Nice horn arrangement, too. It wasn't on iTunes, but I found it on Amazon (in the U.S.).
