      Wyrdskein:

      Paulfan:

Any Doors fans here? I love their music and even met John Densmore at a book signing for the Doors Unhinged.

I'd love to know what John Densmore was like. Such a sad day when he died.

Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier Wyrdskein, I just recently found this thread. John Densmore was nice but maybe strange. That is the impression I got of him. I asked him if JIm Morrison would have had children if he was alive and he said oh sure. I always wondered how Jim would ahve been as a father.

Morrison Hotel is a great album! About 5 years ago my wife bought me a limited edition framed gold record plaque of Morrison Hotel. It's on the wall of my man cave.

Thank you very much! We're both doing well. We both are Doors fans; me more than her. Lately I've been reliving my youth of the 70's/80's listening to more Metal. I really like Iron Maiden, Motorhead & Judas Priest as well as the classic rocks bands like Deep Purple, ZZ Top, Zeppelin etc. Hope you are well.' Up The Irons!

Hi Rockerdude! I'm doing very well ,thank you for asking. Believe it or not Rockerdude, you and I are talking the same Metal language! All the bands you mentioned, I love all of them dearly! I am a HUGE Zeppelin fan seeing that I saw them twice during the 77 tour. I've seen Iron Maiden 3 times, Deep Purple 7 times with mostly Mk 2 & 3, Judas Priest 8 times with Rob Halford and Motorhead 8 times. Lets not forget ZZ Top, I saw them 6 times live. I know being the devout Metal fan you are, you've probably seen these bands many times too. It feels great speaking to a fellow metal fan that appreciates Metal music. As for regrets, my two greatest regrets is that I never saw THE BEATLES or JIMI HENDRIX live! If I would have seen these two, my Rock n' Roll life would have been complete. Take care Rockerdude. *LATE EDIT! Better make that 3 regrets, How could I forget The Doors? I should be ashamed of myself! I would have loved to have seen The Doors live!
