I can't believe I am posting this on a Paul McCartney message board but if folks are sharing You Tube links here is a great clip of Maiden in Germany back in 1981. There is a longer clip of this show but I thought the quality was a little better on this one. For my money the Killers lineup is the definitive lineup. Clive Burr was a beast!!!

My 4 fav bands all time are: Iron maiden, beatles, Rammstein and Slipknot. So that is a diverse range for you. Also: Stone Sour korn Rush marilyn manson paradise lost type o negative nine inch nails Pantera Metallica megadeth OPETH! Skindred... it just goes on and on............................... nest gog is Marilyn Manson at BRIXTON ACADEMY. New album is brilliant, I just hope his live show will be brilliant again, the last few years he has done some very shoddy perforances.

I've been seeing ads on tv about a metal-dude's exhaustive journey, making a documentary that comprehensively chronicles metal's roots, heyday, sex, drugs and metal. Looks like a very interesting project -- lots of interviews with many of the greats.

Last weekend I was in Atlantic City in one of the casinos and I stepped out of the casino area to make a phone call where it was quiet, as I'm standing there Ray Burton walks past me, I had to do a double take W.T.F.? He was standing there waiting for the elevator and there was a couple with him. I walked over and all timid I'm like "Ray?" He was so unbelievably nice, and you can just tell that he is a genuinely happy person (I wish I could be that happy), I had my camera and I was able to get a photo with Ray ha. Spoke for a couple minutes and when we were done they thanked me for coming over to say hi. If you are not sure who Ray Burton is he is Cliff Burton's dad.

How's it going Paul McCartney / Beatles fanatics? I LOVE Metal / Hard Rock music. Believe it or not, numerous music critics has mentioned THE BEATLES as being responsible for starting Metal / Hard Rock music. The truth lies with songs such as "Paperback Writer," "Revolution" and "Helter Skelter" just to name a few. I love bands such as THE KINKS, THE ROLLING STONES, LED ZEPPELIN, BLACK SABBATH, DEEP PURPLE, METALLICA, VAN HALEN, RUSH, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD, AC/DC, GUNS N' ROSES and AEROSMITH just to name a few. This is a great thread! Take care.
