Soul Train's Don Cornelius Dies

Cool "SoulTrain" emcee Don Cornelius has shot himself to death at age 75. He was much more than just the music and dancing show's "emcee" being involved in all aspects as founder and producer, etc. I remember seeing David Bowie perform on there once. Kind of a hip cool show for its pre-hip hop times, lots of R & B greats were featured along with the best dance moves. Cornelius just went through an ugly divorce and disputes over money, which may turn out to have some bearing on his desperate action. A tragic loss. Back Street Boys Aaron Carter's 25 year old sister Leslie was found dead from an overdose after a long addiction battle, leaving a ten month old baby daughter and husband. One wonders if post-partum depression made her struggles worse. It's very sad especially since all her family members were keeping watch over her and trying to help. She was left for just an hour before this happened. She had participated in a Carter family reality show. Aaron Carter has left his off-Broadway play after learning the tragic news, but plans to return to the stage eventually.
