I bought the DVD set commemorating all the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame ceremonies, and her speech was one of my favorites. She performed "At Last," of course, and even then she was a shadow of her former self. When she was a younger gal, she was a real firecracker. I encourage everybody to get her live-album Etta James Rocks The House, which was recorded in the early '60s. You'll see where Janis Joplin got her sound.
