Just wanted to inform US fans who may not be aware of this Beatles' festival (May 25-29) in the Louisville KY area (border of Kentucky and Indiana). I only know of Nancy R. and me attending but they still have Hotel rooms available that are close by. They just announced the line-up and it is pretty darn super in my opinion. Lots of different tribute type bands and individuals. Quite a variety as some focus on the Beatles as a whole wheres others focus on John, Paul, George and Ringo separately. They also have some pretty big "name" artists like Peter Noone (Herman Hermits), Peter Asher (Peter & Gordon), Laurence Juber (Wings Band Member during Back to the Egg) and a few others. Looks like a great value and would love to meet some of my fellow Maccaboard friends. If the timing and location might be good for you, I would google "Abbey Road on the River" to get all the information.

Do they play that album or just Beatles songs in general?

The groups play all the different Beatles songs, and sometimes will play an entire album in order! The festival has moved across the Ohio River to Jeffersonville, IN. (Prior to this was a couple miles south in Louisville, KY) It's a blast! I've been every year (except 2015 ) since 2011. The Candlewood Suites, 2 miles north of the festival, still has rooms available for $139. Go to AROTR.com for more info on tickets, etc. You can also buy onsite in-an-out parking for only $30.15 (including fees) for the entire 5 days. There are free shuttles from the host hotels, the Clarion and the Sheraton.
