Your Greatest Drummer
-
I sort of agree Lazy, and there are so many really fantastic drummers, I don't know how anyone could legitimately rank them.. Dave Grohl is awesome, and really powerful, ala John Bonham. Keith Moon pretty much overpowered everything which was great and worked for the Who. Travis Barker is a phenominal rock drummer out there today, of Blink 182 fame. I always loved Bud Gaugh from Sublime, hard hitting but also capable of huge accents soft/loud in his playing, and like a damn metronome. and played a Warped tour back in the day after breaking ribs.. thats hardcore. though I'm sure he was on painkillers. and not even prescribed due to injury, he just had them and then you have Ringo. so I'll take Ringo.

My greatest drummer is John Bonham. Other great drummers include Neil Peart, Keith Moon, Ringo Starr, Ian Paice, Ginger Baker, Bill Ward, Don Brewer, Charlie Watts, John Densmore, Alex Van Halen, Lars Ulrich and Gene Krupa just to name a few. Take care.

Can't split John Bonham and Ringo - both great but very different styles.
