Santana Honored on Kennedy Honors Tonite

Carlos Santana and I reckon the entire band are among honorees on the Kennedy Center Honors tonight on t.v. You might recall Paul Mc. achieved that distinction a couple years back. You don't have to be American to get one, apparently. "The Who" was accorded this honor fairly recently as well. Shirley MacLaine, a glory hog if there ever was one, will see her long illustrious career performances lauded tonight, too. She's gonna eat that up! Nor did Macca appear to mind his. I've got a pic on my hard drive of him hobnobbing with Hillary. And Oprah, at the thing. Merle Haggard also was feted that year.

Didn't know The Who was honored. Last year they honored Led Zeppelin though.
