As part of the continuing programme of upgrades and maintenance this message board is to be migrated to a new message board operating system. All usernames (avatars, signatures, account settings, post counts), forums, threads and post content will be transferred as they exist now. However, to maximise the benefits of the new operating system, we are now asking you to do a couple of things for us: Firstly, please visit your user settings by clicking the "Profile" link on the left of the page. Please double check that the e-mail address associated with your account is a current e-mail address that you regularly visit to read messages. IF IT IS NOT, then please change your e-mail to one that you do use regularly so you are certain to receive message board notifications and service e-mails. Then hit "Submit" at the bottom of the user settings page to trigger the change. PLEASE NOTE, changing your e-mail address may trigger a brief spell where you cannot log in to your account until the new e-mail address is activated. This is a repeat of the delay you experienced when you opened your account, and is not a matter for concern. New e-mail addresses wil be activated as quickly as we can arrange it. When the upgrade is completed we will use that e-mail to send a service announcement that the new message board system is now active. Secondly, AFTER RECEIVING that service message, we strongly recommend that you return to the "Profile" user setting page and change your password. This is purely for your own personal satisfaction that all these recent changes have not compromised your account security. Should you experience any problems with any of this, and/or find yourself accidentally locked out of your account please send an e-mail to: mccartneymail@yahoo.com stating your username and the issue you are experiencing. If you can access your account and need more help/advice/explanation please contact, via our Private Message System, either of the Board Admins: martinput or calicoskych2001 Your assistance will ensure a smooth transition. Thank you Admin
