Hi Roos!
Everything is fine. I've lived and worked in Russia for two-something years and now I'm back to Ukraine. I've always followed all the news about Paul. I can't let myself miss a thing in his life 
I totally agree!
Than you probably have heard Paul was talking at any concert of the Up & Coming tour, about his visit to the Ukraine, how the Ukraines danced on Mrs. Vanderbilt. 
I've been there. It was unforgetable. Though it was raining hard, there was sunshine in hundreds of ukrainian fans of Paul

Wow, great you could be there! Yeah, a pity it was raining, but as you say 'Paul send the warmth of the sunshine in so many peoples heart'. I was at one of the sound checks and had asked Paul if he would play 'Sun is Shining'. And he did. You can imagine how that's felt and what an again great memory.

I'm sure it was great. Wish Paul will wait a couple of years till I come at his soundcheck. I'd ask him to sing "Motor of Love" or "Once Upon A Long Ago"

We all hope he will go on for still a long time and make your dream come true! Have you read this: Paul is currently playing five songs from the album Band on the Run on his ?Up and Coming Tour?. Live favorites over the last 8 years of touring have included ?Jet?, ?Band on the Run? and ?Let Me Roll It?. In 2008 when Paul played a free outdoor show to over 500,000 people in Kiev, a Ukrainian poll listed ?Mrs Vandebilt? as their all time favorite Paul McCartney song. It?s been included in the set ever since. At the start of this tour Paul added ?Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five? to the set. Great album!

Yeah, great one! One of my favourite albums. Still I like "Flowers in the Dirt" and "Chaos and Creation" more.

I have a CD/DVD edition of "Chaos and Creation". Nancy once presented it to me. It has been my favourite disc since that time.
By the way, haven't you heard anything from her? I haven't spoken to her for ages.

The "Chaos and Creation" CD/DVD is a masterpiece and means a lot to me because of the song "This Never Happened Before". I told Paul during a meeting that I was grateful he wrote /sang that song special for me as we had met each other earlier in 2005 on our holiday. I never will forget the grin at Paul's face when I told him that!
Awesome Nancy gave you the CD/DVD. Wonderful album to have in your collection. The latest time I spoke Nancy she was doing fine. I will remember her to you in my next email. -

In het interview bracht Obama ook het bezoek van Paul McCartney aan het Witte Huis ter sprake. Hij beschreef daarbij Paul McCarney als "ongelooflijk" en "een zeer galant persoon".

Paul McCartney heeft een boze fietser die hem bijna aanreed een lesje geleerd. Paul was onderweg naar zijn kantoor in Londen toen een onbeleefde man schreeuwend aan kwam fietsen en hem bijna van zijn sokken reed. Paul liet dit niet over zijn kant gaan. Hij stapte op de man af, maar niet om hem te slaan. ?Hij voerde een soort elfendans uit en riep: ?ooeh, ik ben zo eng, ik ben zo eng? tegen de fietser,? zo vertelde de 37-jarige Mark Thorburn aan The Sun. ?Paul zette daarbij een vreemd, hoog stemmetje op om hem voor gek te zetten. Paul McCartney ontwerpt tattoo voor actrice Emma Stone en haar moeder lopen binnenkort rond met een tatoeage die is ontworpen door Paul McCartney. Dat vertelde de Amerikaanse actrice aan David Letterman. Het is de eerste en waarschijnlijk ook de laatste keer dat moeder en dochter een tattoo laten zetten. Het plaatje heeft een speciale betekenis voor het stel. 'Twee jaar geleden kreeg mijn moeder te horen dat ze borstkanker had. Nu is ze genezen', aldus de 21-jarige actrice, bekend van Zombieland. 'Haar lievelingslied is Blackbird van Paul McCartney en het is ook mijn favoriet. Dus schreef ik een brief naar Paul met de vraag of hij twee kleine vogelpoten kon tekenen. Gisteren kreeg ik de tekeningen binnen.' Emma is dolblij met haar unieke afbeelding. 'Een op maat gemaakte tattoo door Paul McCartney, is dat niet cool?' Ja, dat is vreselijk cool!
