Cool, I know I saw the set list,.... what did their signs say?

Can't remember exactly. I think the daughter's said : I've been signed, and the Mom's said, I want to get signed like my daughter.

Well that hasn't been too many ppl, so we can start narrowing it down,..... did the daughter get on stage?

Where did you see the pic? I know about 6 girls who've been signed and didn't think any of them were going to LA. Maybe it was one of the girls who got signed at Outside Lands last year?????

            Did the "special guests" materialize?

Nope. Ringo, Jeff Lynne and Joe Walsh were there, but did not appear on stage.

So what happened to that longer show? Don't tell me it was a longer sing a Long to "Hey Jude"

The "longer" show reference was Paul joking about how short the Beatles concert at Dodger Stadium in comparison to tonight's show. P.S. Once I get home, I'll post some thoughts about the show either later on or tomorrow.

It was GREAT! Seemed to be better than Outside Lands last year. It was probably my 10th or 11th time seeing him since 2001 and I have to say, it was a great show.

Paul seemed playful, so I was hopeful for a special guest, but not to be. The "special guest" ended up being the glorious super Moon which shown brightly down upon us the whole evening. The guy is 72. It was a fantastic show for a performer of 62, 52, 42, 32 or 22. Even with the by-the numbers setlist and "banter". Even with his voice out of range for songs like "Maybe I'm Amazed". I always feel fortunate when I get to see him, and hope there will be more opportunities to come.

It was awesome my favorite moment was "Hi Hi Hi", he blew the place apart! I have waited decades to hear this live and I was not disappointed! Paul's love for performing really shone tonight.

Posting at 2:50 am just returned from the McCartney concert in L.A...Of all the times I have seen this man, tonight at Dodger Stadium was spectacular. Everything about this show was amazing. 36 songs, nearly 3 hours, his voice was fantastic. The stadium was completely full, and boy did he deliver to the Los Angeles audience. It was the best concert I have ever seen!

I thought it was really obvious in the video that he was talking about last night's show being longer than when the Beatles played Dodger stadium in '66, I'm not sure how anyone could have misinterpreted it. I know people are unhappy with Paul and his concerts these days but I don't see why it's necessary to invent things to be upset about.

Agreed! I saw that video only once, but it was obvious for me too that Paul meant playing a "little longer" now than with the Beatles back in 1966.

He swaps out I Saw Her Standing There with Get Back. BTW did anyone actually see Ringo or is that just a rumor? I know for certain Joe Walsh was there. He was seen with his wife.

Look it's pretty obvious when you see his show that the cheers and the tears are for The Beatles' songs, and they gladly listen and recognize his great Wings songs. Then they get up and go for drinks and to the bathroom when he plays new songs. That's how it was 12 years ago and that's how it is now. People are rapt about last night's show. Nobody's bored with it or complaining about it, not the audience and certainly not him!

I'd like to apologize to the sign holders. In previous posts, I criticized you. However, last night, the sign holders didn't bug anyone. Here's what did. A lady brought her lap dog! Yep. You read that right. I hope that little guy didn't freak out too much. I do hope that he pooped in her purse. Also, if you're going bring your 5 year old. YOU NEED TO BRING EARPLUGS. Poor little girl was having fun at the beginning but later cringing and holding her ears because of the volume. Anyway, it was a great show.
