Wishes for Paul's New Album?

^ I think you meant by his right leg, right? (That's why in the O.R. we always double-check by asking the patient, "Now, we're amputating your right leg, correct?")
Yes, of course I meant to say right leg & not my left.

Just write on the leg with a sharpie, "Not this one".

Actually we write "YES" on the correct limb and the surgeon has to initial it. We also put a green armband on the patient and write on it the full procedure/surgery that it being done and the surgeon has to initial that too.

I'd like to see it be a follow up to "Ram" and a continuation of his last album "New" How about "Gnu"?

Seriously, you wouldn't believe all the hoops we have to jump through to insure patient safety, etc. And once a year we all have to take about 15 "tests" on things like infection prevention & control, radiation safety, HIPAA (patient privacy) etc. plus CPR every 2 years.

Geez, if I was getting something amputated I'd want more than paperwork and initials!.... that being said, I don't envy the nurses.... one of the most underpaid professions EVER. They do a great job. Deserve double the money. Take if off the royalties of rappers and Justin Bieber and the world will be a better balanced place.

The patient also gets asked by everyone including the admissions nurse, O.R. nurse, anesthetist, anesthesiologist, and surgeon which is the correct side or limb. We also have what's called a "time out" in the O.R. prior to cutting skin in which we again verify the proper side/limb and state the patient's name, allergies and the exact surgery we are doing e.g. "Right above knee amputation" or "Left radical mastectomy." Anyway, thanks for your kind words about how we're underpaid!

That's a good thing. When I learned CPR, they told us to sing "Staying Alive". Do they still do that? And nurses are definitely underpaid. And teachers. And anyone who works 40+ hours per week but still can't pay the rent.

Yes, the speed/cadence is still to "Staying Alive." Apropos, right?

It's sounds like a Simpson's joke, but I can't place it.

I can't wait for this thing to come out, I'm really excited for it. With his comments in the press recently it seems as though he is taking the one producer route this round, instead of having multiple producers like on New Which could be a good thing, because some of his efforts with Nigel Godrich and David Kahne(Memory Almost Full specifically) have been really praised by fans and critics alike(although I thought NEW was a fine album, I would love to hear more like it. My favorite Macca album)
-
My main wish for the new album is for it to arrive before Hell freezes over.

Or at least before we all pass off this mortal coil!

I agree, was really hoping it would be out before he plays the US again and maybe people could hear some of it live.

That came out 25 years ago.

[quote="HaileyMcComet"]That came out 25 years ago. True. And for the record, that was 8 or 9 years after Don Henley told an interviewer the Eagles would never reunite for a "lost youth and greed tour." But I'm straying off topic here lol

Didn't you like NEW with the 4 different producers? The reason I liked that one so much, was because it was like there were 4 different directions of Paul McCartney on there. He is so multi dimensional, that I found that really interesting seeing the differences that each producer was able to pull from his range...and it didn't even cover classical either!
