In addition to the new song played last weekend, Paul has mentioned bits and pieces about other songs that may be on the album. If anyone has read about other songs, we can add them to the list.

My new album actually has something which is decidedly Latin. But I don’t know if it will make the cut. You never know with these things, but I think it will and people will understand what I’m talking about when they hear it. But I love Latin rhythms ...

Beatles legend Paul McCartney has written a song about Donald Trump on his new album.
Macca was speaking to students at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) when he made the announcement.
While McCartney, 75, didn't imply whether the song was in favour of the US President or not, he did say that he felt he HAD to write it.
He told students at LIPA : “Sometimes the situation in the world is so crazy, that you’ve got to address it."

We also know that the album was produced by Greg Kurstin, who has produced recent material by Beck, Foo Fighters, and Adele, among many others. My guess is that the style of this new album will be all over the place, like on New. He wants to appeal to as many people as possible, and he likes music that pushes boundaries, so I'm sure that once again the fans will be sharply divided, whatever he puts out!
I'm still betting on the album coming out sometime between today and next Friday. Since he's now confirmed for James Corden's show next Thursday (which is probably just the previously filmed "Carpool Karaoke" segment), it could make sense for the album to come out the following day. Supposedly, his Corden segment includes "some new material," so I very much doubt he would preview several new songs and then wait till September to release the album.
One possibility that I know everyone will hate is that the album comes out ONLY on Spotify and other streaming services to begin with (and possibly downloads), and then we'd have to wait for the physical product for weeks, perhaps. But remember that Billboard now counts "streams" toward sales, so if he drops the whole album at once and everybody is streaming it just to hear it, that could be his one good chance for a surge of "sales" that would put the album at least in the Top 10.

Why do they have him listed as Paul James instead of James Paul?! They have John as Lennon John Winston and Linda as McCartney Linda Louise, but Paul is backwards.

That is weird, plus the Rutles song "Another Day" is listed as a co-write between Neil Innes and John Lennon?? And performed by Paul McCartney AND the Rutles?? (Paul and John had nothing to do with it, other than being the inspirations for this parody.) Thanks for the fascinating resource, though!

Correct, I'm just thinking that his promotional team keeps getting him into the Top 10 by a new gimmick each time lately: the Starbucks connection with Memory Almost Full, the Twitter clues and pop-up concerts for New, etc.
Another possibility for this album is that he announces his tour and album the same day, and when people buy concert tickets, they're bundled with the new album, which also counts toward a Billboard chart placing, and which has helped recent albums by Bon Jovi and Randy Newman debut at a high position.

Tickets for some of the shows on last year's tour were supposed to have included a copy of the new album. Which of course was not released last year, so I wonder if we will still get those copies?
