The song may still be a free download if you sign up to receive their emails. That's what I did.

I don't much like the song from "Destiny," but at least it's not annoying like this. Yikes. Sometimes our boy really needs an editor.

I often think this when I see those little to-camera videos he does, like his recent, infamous 'rapping' one. His intentions are good, but I wish he'd sometimes do a second take.

a second take...OR someone on his staff should really be honest with him & quit being a YES man.

Definitely. It's his lack of quality control when approaching these things, with no editing voice, that does his reputation - and the public's perception of him - no good.

Sounds like 'Fine Line' meets 'Manic Monday'

It is what it is. At least it is connected to a worthwhile cause. It's intention is good. Musically it's lazy, but it's no worse than Dig It, which didn't have the merit of being connected to a good cause. So let's see this in perspective. I like the sounds in the last part of the song. Cool vocal and drum tracks. It's a throwaway, but a purposeful, well-meaning one. And I salute meat free Mondays. Let's aim for meat free everyday. 😎

To me, it's more like that made-up song at the end of the TV special Chaos and Creation at Abbey Road, the one that goes, "That's all for now, it's time to go home" or something like that. But yeah, it is what it is.

To me it is about what he has been putting out for the last decade or so. It's OK. He has nothing to prove as a song writer anymore. If he did, he'd play a lot more recent tunes in concert. But he plays mainly songs from 30 or more years ago. He has the right. He has earned it. I like the song NEW, but I don't think we will be hearing anything stellar from this point on. Not being critical. I think his best song writing days are behind him. So are David Bowie's, Mick and Keith's, Elton's, Billy Joel's, Brian Wilson and all those legends. That's how it works. But he should keep working. That is what is keeping him young.

Man ... no one is saying anything about intention! we all respect the aim. but the song has to stand up for the cause, or at least deserves more time to spend on ideas. and we know Paul can do better, cause he really can. if you want to do something for a good cause you shouldn't let your laziness take control. then for the "Dig it" .. it was intended to be fun ... obviously it was not meant to serve a world cause, just like other songs in the Let It Be album. it was just 20 second fun and it has more energy in it actually than this one. sorry but this is my opinion!

unfortunately you might be right! But I still think and have this hope that he will make another masterpiece, he still has it inside I'm sure Maybe he need to try to play with other artists who can challenge him to bring out his best, David Gilmore, Eric Clapton, Steve Miller, Jimmy Page.

Just to be clear, I don't think the song is very good, either. But hey, I've probably written worse, haha!!

In my opinion, 'That's All for Now' was a lot better. Also, he probably spent about equal time on both. 😉

He could have just adapted "Long Leather Coat," I suppose. New lyrics like, "the steak on your plate is really just a pile of flesh"?
