Ticket prices

I have always been within the first 5 rows and I have never had to pay more than the standard $250 ticket. (With the exception of nosebleed back in 1990).
You and me both. Crowdsurge was good for me. Way back in 2010 I got a pair of tix in row 5 or 6 in SLC. In 2013, a pair at Safeco Field in row 5. In 2014, I did single seats in Missoula & SLC and got row 3 both times. Never over $250. I remember the last SLC show I was sitting adjacent to the folks who bought the soundcheck package, but all they got was a cheap looking backpack and I got my LP of New signed by Paul. I think I got the better deal!

I can't believe they raised the prices on front row and Hot Sound by $100! If he comes to Atlanta, I think I'll just get Gold Hot Seat.

Anyone have any insight as to why ticket prices are nearly 3 times as high for the soundcheck tickets in the US versus in Germany, in US dollars?

It's really simple: US fans will pay the high price, and European fans won't.

Probably their income is much Higher

What are the ranges for the Non-Premium, Non-VIP seats? Looking at upper levels, not floor. I'm not looking for any specific venue, just trying to get an idea so I can start saving for if/when he announces the East Coast dates. Thanks!
Hi, These should give you an idea, today's pre-sales: Fresno, CA: $65. - $250. Portland, OR: $49.50 - $250. Seattle, WA: $39.50 - $250. Little Rock, AR: $42.50 - $280. Sioux Falls, SD: $59.50 - $250. For those who may be interested: VIP: Front Row: $2,100. Hot Sound: $1,600. Gold Hot Seat: $700. Silver Hot Seat: $475. Fingers crossed for the east coast! Anita
Thanks! Looking to take both boys this time! Fingers crossed for the East Coast, and fingers crossed that when he comes to PA, that it isn't when we are in FL for 2 weeks in July!!!

The normal Tickets are the Same price like in Europe. Even the cheapest are cheaper

This is not true. I suspect most who pay the high prices in the USA often get in debt to do so. It just comes down to what you are willing to do. I live in the USA (barely) and I am not willing to pay those high prices.

Exactly! I was just telling a friend that for $2,500 I can fly round trip to the UK for 10 days and visit London and Liverpool.

I don't have a high income ,I just have a charge card that I make payments on ! At Detroit concert, I splurged on Soundcheck package & had 4th row in 3rd section. A couple weeks before the show , my husband got 2nd row .! No sound check but he had a better seat than me for a lot less

I think a bit off to one side is better for taking pictures. Otherwise Paul always seems to have a mic smack in front of him...haha.

The remarkable thing about ticket pricing is how many uber-premium seats they're trying to sell these days. Just for kicks, I added a "Silver Seat" ticket to my basket to see what came up. Would you believe Sec. 227, row 4 for Seattle? That's $470! And yes, that's via ticketmaster's official site, not a 3rd party (or Stubhub-type) seller. I opted for row TWO in section 218 for a mere $99 instead...

Someone has to pay that outrageous fee. But that's ok, he's Paul McCartney!!
