The piano sessions?

Excellent!
Hang on.... Oobu.. are you telling me Rockestra Theme and Girlfriend were around in 1974?
Nope...no one said that. That is just a pic of the boot that was mentioned that I found in a google search. The Piano Tapes may have been 1974 & they added stuff to it. But who knows when it was made...could have been 1990?
Cool! Cheers!

I've heard it, and it's just Paul at the piano at home, with a small toddler in the background, probably either Stella or James, depending on when it was recorded. You hear him flipping pages, just running through song after song. It's amazing. The most frequent guess is that it actually comes from 1978, because of the emphasis on BTTE. Hard to be sure because it sounds like even "Mull Of Kintyre" is not quite finished, and there are a lot of tracks from around V&M and songs he did for "One Hand Clapping," which makes 1974 more plausible to me. It's obviously all from the same day. The one song released from this is "Women Kind," which got put on the Archive edition of "McCartney." Maybe that song was written by 1970, but it's next to impossible for this tape to be from that period.
