You can watch the video for the single release of "he aint heavy hes my brother" here now, it includes Paul of course, and i hope as many people as possible buy this single as it is for the most worthy of causes, those familes have been through hell and the glimmer of justice is finally around the corner

Good track. Great cause. I'm biased, but Paul is the best thing about the track -- he sounds great; his vocals are the key ingredient.

Paul being on this album will definitely help the sales. Would you say he plays a guitar solo or a riff?

                It's a classic McCartney-solo.

Lets hope it gets to No 1 for Christmas rather than any X Factor crap. Maybe some of those highly paid footballers from Liverpool would each like to give a hefty donation from their very overpaid salaries ! !

Where can U.S. fans get it? Hope it's on iTunes. And what exactly happened? A stampede or did the stands collapse?

It wasn't a stampede, nor did the stand collapse, it was a crush by overcrowding. With a massive cover up by the police. Picture going to a standing Paul gig, and you were in an stand that had 3 divided pens with no seats and fences all the way around it, and the police outside decided that as it was so busy outside that they would open a gate instead of using all the turnstiles (but then lied about the fact they did it), letting everyone in with half an hour to go. And then when you got in, they hadn't closed off the already full middle section, and didn't direct you into the side ones with more room. So everyone piled in not knowing it was already full at the front. And people had the life squeezed out of them, trapped in a small area surrounded by metal fences, until finally it was noticed and people got out, but too late. And once you got out, you were left to die instead of letting any ambulances in to help you - just left even though it's later (20 years later) proven that some of you could have survived if ambulances had been allowed in. Coroners fix it so that they claim everyone was dead by a certain time (which allowed the police to avoid more scrutiny), even though witnesses knew otherwise - that some of the dying were alive and spoke. And then you find that for the next 20 years the police lie and change statements and basically try to blame all of you and the dead. That's what happened. If it happened at a Paul concert the fans wouldn't be blamed. Because it was football there was a cover up and shift of blame and lies told by the senior police chiefs. Memos went out to try and "shift the blame onto fans rather than us", statements were doctored and altered to remove any blame of the police. It's all much more complicated than i can explain here, and apologies to anyone if i'm not explaining it well enough, i know those familes deserve respect and dignity, so i just wanted to try and answer nancy. And finally an independant inquiry has proven those lies, and finally the people who were in charge on the way to being held to account. Familes have been through hell, not only losing their loved one, but having blame put on them. Finally it's been shown what a huge cover up the police put in place almost instantly. http://hillsborough.independent.gov.uk/

Good on them for doing it for charity but it boggles the mind to think the singers in this song include X Factor contestants, Robbie bloody Williams and oh yeah the co-lead singer and songwriter of The Beatles!

My CD has been shipped. Just £2, and for non-european customers it costs even less, since there are no taxes.

And they used to claim that "Home taping is killing music"......... Now we know it's really "Taxes are killing music".
