Cheap Trick ROCK on Jet!! HELL yeah!! Different tastes, I suppose. KISS did a great job on V&M/Rock Show! I think the hic up is a bit over done. Over all, a great collection.

An all-star tribute concert is what needs to happen. Heck -- Dylan is getting ready for a SECOND one -- and Paul McCartney hasn't even had ONE yet. Oy.

Worry ye not. I'm sure PAUL himself is probably organising one.. :

...but enough about the Grammys' 50th anniversary Beatle thing earlier this year. "ZING!"

"The Art of McCartney" debuts on the Billboard 200 at #27 this week. It will be interesting to see if it lasts through the season. I think it will fade quickly. There's just too much other stuff out there that people are way more excited about.

Just got the Target version. Orginally wanted the Best Buy version but they were closed. This is on sale at Target now and was mismarked in my case, so I got a good deal on it! I think that Amazon has the best deal though. Going to listen a few times before I make choices of favorites!

Does anyone know if the bonus track For No One is a piano or acoustic guitar cover?

It is a tribute, so I never expect these to do well. So that is great! Where did NEW debut?

Originally debuted at #3 last year; I missed seeing if the Collector's Edition hit the chart a few weeks ago. If it did, it only lasted a week and must have been fairly low. But you're right, #27 is quite good for a tribute album. Must be all of us fans buying multiple copies!

I'm seeing lots of tv ads for it, mainly on the Palladia Network.

The Making of Special was on TV this afternoon..... recorded it, watching it now... Bob Dylan,,,,, Interesting that they said The Beatles wanted Things We Said Today to be the A-side single.

Its odd that TicketMaster is sending this out now, 1 year late. If they're trying to make me look out of touch they're doing a good job. PS my link don't work either.

Yes, much better but not a good promo, only "na na na na", nothing from the artists on this album. How bizarre.
