His duet with Al Jarreau.
This one?
________________________________________ Never heard this version before with Paul singing with Al Jarreau. "Bringing It Home to Me is one of my favorite Sam Cooke songs ever. Paul really needs to come out with a Rarities/Unreleased type CD's with all the songs he has that are not on one of his albums. I would be 1st in line to buy it.

Press To Play was the only one of his albums I didn't know about or buy until way after it came out. Actually got it at a Beatles convention.
_______________________________________________________ Same for me Nancy. I was going through a tough time during that period. I had separated from my ex, had my daughter (thank God) and was starting a new job. I do remember the local paper (who's critic was anti-Paul) thrashing the album. For those reasons I didn't get back into Paul's solo career until Flowers in the Dirt. Anyway I bought the CD (with the3 extra tracks) just a year or so ago. I discovered that I liked it a lot. It jelled to me as an album after several listens. It was far less "Poppy" than Pipes of Peace which I didn't think "flowed" well at all. Anyway songs from Press I really liked were: Stranglehold Good Times Coming Footprints (my favorite on the CD and one of his all time "hidden gems" imo) Only Love Remains Press (the single that I heard on the radio) Move Over Busker Write Away (reminded me of a Michael Jackson style song and loved Paul's vocals) Tough on a Tightrope As compared to Pipers of Peace, Paul seemed loose on Press to Play. It didn't seem like Paul was trying to write the next big single trying to solve the world's problems. He was just being the old Paul writing songs that naturally came to him. Just think, as a big Paul fan, Press to Play was a CD that totally eluded me until a couple of years ago and yet to me it is now one of his most underrated CD's (similar to Back to the Egg and Driving Rain). Interesting enough, one of my favorite unreleased songs that was never put on Press to Play and was cowritten with Eric Stewart is Yvonne the One. I just discovered "Yvonne" just a couple of years ago too.

Not sure what album this was meant for, but recently discovered "Jazz Street" on YouTube. Would like to know more about it, when it was recorded and what album it's from, and if Paul recorded both piano and guitar, or if it's Denny Laine. Was thinking it's probably circa 1972/1973 around the time he recorded "1985" because it has that same rhythm and feel on the keyboards. Love all the photos in this video, they go with the music well! JAZZ STREET

That's not going to happen. Even if he thought it would be a good idea, which I doubt, someone on his team would convince him to add "Band On the Run", "My Love", "Let 'Em In" and "Silly Love Songs". Then someone would point out that if you have a few big hits, you might as well have more. The hits are what sold. Eventually, it would be another Greatest Hits compilation.

_________________________________________________ Hailey, Love your sarcasm. That was exactly why I didn't buy Pure McCartney. I would love a CD that would have the songs that are "difficult" to find. He has so many good ones.

You need to discover some of the good bootlegs out there. There are a few with 'b sides" in the title.

Flowers took forever to grow on me, and i never liked it until this year's reissue. Now it's one of my favorite albums of his.

That wasn't sarcasm. I truly believe that someone on his team would insist on putting "Band On the Run" on any compilation/live album.
