If they're going to change it so we have to log in with Facebook, I might as well say goodbye now. I'm not joining that corporation for anyone. Not even Paul.

They may give that as an option like other sites do, but will still let you log in like you do now. Most of us wanted the "Friends" section back which was similar to FB. You could friend people and create your own playlist of 20 songs, etc.

In comparison to a few other message boards I go to, the one here just seems kind of archaic. For example, not being able to embed YouTube videos so a preview image of the video shows up in the thread is a function that seems pretty standard nowadays. Also, using commands to bold something or underline something just seems kinda cumbersome. Again, some other boards I go to don't make you use commands like that. All you have to do is click on the "B" for bold, and voila! The word or sentence is bolded. I just feel like things can simplified or streamlined around here, that's all.

Gotcha! Plus, the Search function is ridiculous!! It lists 5 million things even when you type the exact (or close to it) thread name!

I miss the original Pioneers, hate to gripe... I would also truly like boardies only or a club that I could join, like I do for other artists... To get better seats for a concert.
How about liking people comments? Am I the only one, who has wanted to "like" someone's comment? The PM's need to be totally overhauled. -
I'd still like Wings to have their own section on this board. Its dumb beyond belief that there is space given over to the Listen To What The Man Said board,which hasn't changed in 6 years, and yet presumably they can't find space for a Wings board.

Options are good. I'm all for options. Assuming the everyone uses Facebook is bad.

That surprised me when I first joined here. Not being able to embed videos seems very old fashioned.

Right off the top of me noggin I can only think of off-the-wall changes, like adding a "I'm Partial to Your Abracadabra" for "theater of the mind" dreams people dream while sleeping, wild flights of fancy, odd visions to report, etc. and one called "Too Much Rain" for pity parties, a wailing wall of agonies endured, "venting" and expressing fears (sure would be fun!) featuring lively looks at the Pandora's Box of the id--but the latter theme would certainly not reflect Paul's light hearted pop stance of "we were not a serious band" (the Beatles) which could also apply to Wings--these bands mostly were just for fun, he seemed to be saying. Have fun here. Pruning out the dead wood of "Listen to What the Man Said" because it's never augmented and updated and "Souvenirs" and the like, might be useful steps to take for improvements on the message board. What is the purpose of "Souvenirs"? Is it some "blast from the past" archive of threads considered especially worthwhile or important?
