This is an abomination! Paul's not even singing! He's not a jazz artist! Sorry, yes, I'll admit this is a beautiful song, better than the Kanye tracks.

I like it ! Could it be that Paul will focus more on writing stuff even if he does`t perform himself. It`s hard to imagine that it`s a pure coincidence all these songs "dropped" in a short period of weeks. Actually I quite like the idea. Don`t get me wrong : he`s a great singer and performer but there are other great singers and performers. However as a writer of pop music he is unique.

Paul's legacy as a vocalist is sealed. He is one of the best. I think it is cool if he writes songs for other people. It's not a jump. He's been doing it since the 60s.

http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/may12/articles/mccartney.htm At least one more original was recorded [in the "Kisses" sessions] but eventually not used, as LiPuma mentions: "I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually re-records 'If I Take You Home Tonight', which is another relatively new composition. It's a good song but it was still being developed and I wasn't sure if it would fit stylistically with everything else we had done.? == If Paul never does a finished version, hopefully his demo will find its way out someday...
