I just noticed that almost everyone magazine cover from 1970 on has a theme of "McCartney is Back" in its headline.

I always thought this version of the 1969 Life magazine cover was printed for Europe or Asia, but looks like it's just an orange tab along the left side (see crease over the F) with the table of contents. Probably had a special advertisement on the back or something. (Just useless info for any collectors out there

Because of the "Paul is Dead" rumour that started in 1969. Life Magazine actually sent a reporter and a photographer to Mull of Kintyre to find Paul. They found him but he was not pleased. He did finally pose for the cover and gave an interview to get them to leave.
