@ladyleslie "Sexiest Man Alive" pic. I think that cover picture of Paul was taken ( by Linda) at the Sgt Pepper launch party in 1967 at 24 Chapel St, London, the home of Mr Epstein. Paul looks to be wearing the same clothes. That was the last time Paul and Linda met until Paul and John went to America a year later, to launch Apple. I have stood outside 24 Chapel St several times. In fact on one of my Beatles themed fanclub days out we did a Beatles tour of London and started the tour at Chapel Street. 10 of us standing outside 24 Chapel St talking about Mr Epstein and the Beatles. Lord knows what the neighbours musta thought. I filmed it too. Have it on DVD.

@nancy-r Paul also has never talked about his relationship with Jane Asher. I don't think both ever will.

Yes, that photo was taken by Linda on May 19, 1967.
When I was there with a tour group in 2011, a man came out the door and just looked at us and went on his way. He’s probably used to it!

I just read something online where Paul said he was walking to a meeting and had to pass 57 Wimpole St. and he was thinking about all the time he spent there, then he ran into Jane! He said something like “Oh! I was just thinking about you!” and kept going.
He does mention her in Wingspan where Mary interviews him, but all he says is that he was “going steady with a red-headed girl at the time” (a fortune teller had told him he would marry a blonde woman and have 3 or 4 children!)
And you’re correct - Jane will never talk about her relationship with him! -

I called my local comic book store and they were all sold out immediately of this magazine. (they sold them for $30) Tried to get one via auction, but was outbid, so I did get it through Buy It Now for $34. It’s the one of Paul singing with Superman on the cover.

My copy came today! (and it will stay in its protective cover forever!) Should be worth a fortune someday!
