Opening night soundcheck he was given a ukulele and I thought that was maybe why "something" made its way into the set, considering "All Thing Must Pass" had been rehearsed previously...I assumed it would stay in for at least the South American portion...but perhaps it will be bumped for something else tonight! Also...perhaps Coming Up, Things We Said Today and, Bluebird will be swapped in this evening? They could easily fit in where the songs are usually swapped from night to night.

'All Things Must Pass' rehearsal is from a very hazy source. These soundcheck songs are usual business.

But they are songs that leak into the set from time to time...most recently, "Things We Said Today" and especially at South American shows in the band acoustic portion of the show.

Yeah, I agree with what you said. 'Things We Said Today' for 'And I Love Her' this time. I can't really see anything else from this fresh new acoustic block being swapped though, but let's see in an hour or 2.

Very curious to see if there will be any songs swapped, I sort of hope not...I still would love to hear Penny Lane when I see him in July, but that isn't gonna happen.

There's just a small handful I would still like to see leave the set, but I really do not mind they are still in it considering what we just got. Paperback Writer, Maybe I'm Amazed, And I Love Her, Eleanor Rigby, Back in the USSR, Day Tripper, Helter Skelter...can all take a hike. However, I realize he'll probably NEVER drop Eleanor OR USSR...

If I really had to knock a couple off to replace with either solo or other Beatles/Wings tracks I would take out: The Long and winding road, Mrs Vandebilt, and Something. I want to see Being for the Benefit, but I think I would do away with the tributes besides maybe keeping Here Today. I think it is such a moving song.

Oh and if i had to replace them I would choose, Penny Lane (My favorite) Little Lamb Dragonfly, and Magneto and Titanium Man.

Hey, I think George deserves a tribute if John gets one

Oh I agree! I always wondered why Paul didn't write a specific tribute for George though. I wouldn't mind Here Comes The Sun or While My Guitar Gently Weeps or All Things Must Pass either. I think I am over the Uke maybe

Yeah, I wonder that, too. I mean, there was that song he felt George inspired him to write (I can't remember the name at the moment) ... maybe he should sing that one! I remember really liking it when I heard it. I do agree, though, that Here Comes the Sun or (even better in a stadium!) While my Guitar Gently Weeps might be a good one, just to shake things up.

Oh yea? I never heard of that...Does anyone know what that song is?

Ok I did some googling and found out which one it is: It's "Friends to Go" off of Chaos and Creation. I vote for that one, Paul!!

Wow, learned something new today! Thanks! I also choose that one!

                                        No problem!
