Classic...

Recently got Standing Stone and I'm thinking about putting it on for a spin later. Anyone listened to his Classical output? Anyone want to give a brief run down of the albums?

I love it, is my favorite classic work. Many people said that only Celebration is good, to me is all their traks...I hope you'll enjoy it

Hmmmm..... I'll be honest. The only reason I bought the album is because it's a Paul McCartney album. I would never have considered buying it if it wasn't. ops: I've listened to it maybe 4 or 5 times. It's better than I had expected, but it's not what I would consider great. But then again, I'm not really into that kind of music. "Kisses on the bottom" will never be one of my favorite Paul albums, basically because that kind of music isn't my kind of music. The same goes for his classical releases.

I totally agree. I bought ?Standing Stone? because it was Paul, but I heard only once, and ?Kisses? I also bought and listened only once, too. Definitely it isn?t my kind of music. I think it's very strange, Paul singing ?Kisses?, my ears don?t accept this.

I'm sorry to hear that, because it shouldn't be that way, I buy cd's 'cause I love it...first I listen then I buy it, not just is Paul, you know. Don't seems fair that you spend money only because is him...

Don't be..... For me it's a hobby. Just like collecting stamps. The cds aren't even on the shelf. They are in a drawer. They would take up way too much space among the other artists cds. I haven't bought "Ocean's Kingdom" yet. But eventually I will. I know it's a record I will probably only be playing once or twice, so I can wait till I find it cheap somewhere. Last week I bought the dvd version of "the Liverpool Oratorio", so now that spot in the collection is filled out

I bought it because I want to have all the CDs and DVDs of Paul, this is a collection. Kisses CD and DVD did not even know if I would enjoy it, bought on pre-order. But despite not like I'm happy because it's part of the work of Paul. This week I saw a site that is the place to go for Those rare live recordings not found at retail outlets, yet did not purchase it, but I intend to do soon.

Well, is ok then...guess I'm not a collector, that's why the things that I buy is only the things I love for his contents
