Your concert in New Orleans was set for June 19th - the day after your b-day; a local radio station (WTIX) had a big party planned on the 18th at the Rock 'N Bowl for all listeners and concert-goers...I guess they'll cancel now. But the manager at this station *adores* you and the Fabs, so he may just re-schedule the party for October! You are in my prayers.

Update: The Paul Birthday party is still on!! Besides this Paul celebration on the 18th, a group of New Orleans musicians who had tickets to Thursday's concert - and, therefore, the night off - have decided to get together and play a tribute concert on the night (6/19). Pretty cool

Happy Birthday Paul. Apparently he's in London according to this new "story" on the Daily Mail: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2660180/Sir-Paul-McCartney-tear-trousers-date-wife-Nancy-Shevell.html I was hoping he'd use this illness to make some changes but his hair looks as dreadful as ever, still in need of a decent cut. Sigh. Oh well, the good news is he's looking healthy. And he's dressed nicely. I like his paisley (?) shirt. Naturally the Daily Mail, being the fine publication it is, is calling attention to a hole in his pants.
