I'm sure this was discussed here when it was new in 2008....I can't believe I'm just now hearing it. I can't find much information on it, how involved Paul was in writing or playing. It's just beautiful and Nitin's voice is simply out of this world. The song sounds like a mishmash between something that could've been on Chaos or Electric Arguments.

Such a beautiful song, he has a wonderful way with words... this song always makes me cry. I remember reading somewhere that he wrote it for his second wife, but it wasn't recorded until 2008.

He could easily take 12-14 songs he's recorded and used for movie soundtracks, charity, or even bonus tracks over the past 15 years and come up with a very nice album.

That's a good idea. It's a beautiful song, I was under the impression it was for Heather as well. It's a very beautiful song indeed

Beautiful song. I'd add also that the emotion of the lyrics fits his "older voice" quite nicely.

______________________________________________________ Great idea Martin. These are the kind of "hard to find" songs that I wished Paul had included on Pure McCartney. I would be first in line to purchase a compilation filled with B-sides and special and rare songs like My Soul, unreleased songs etc.
