So happy to finally hear this arrangement. I would be surprised if this was ever performed in the original style. I think if it is done during a concert, it will be like this. I hope to be proven wrong!
It's in my Top 10 favorite Wings songs. The best version, in my opinion, is from James Paul McCartney TV special, but the album version is great, too. -

I can hear it now....when Red Rose Speedway gets the deluxe treatment about ten years from now, it will include a disc in which the entire album is rerecorded with Paul playing all songs on the ukulele. That sound check version was just the warm up!!

It's probably gonna feel like 10 years! I believe Venus and Mars & Speed of Sound are next...probably for 2014-2015. Then you figure London Town will probably get the treatment after that maybe around 2016. It may be some time before the ol' Barn gets painted.
