Paul/New York Yankees connection
-
...not referring to his being a fan of the team or the times he attended games at Yankee Stadium...but I recall at some point shortly after former NY Yankee outfielder Bernie Williams retired (probably going back close to 10 years - maybe more), Paul's company, MPL, signed him to a contract due to his skilled classical guitar playing...does anyone know if Paul ever did anything with Bernie's work?

Found something (the power of google...LOL) "Williams, who plays lead and rhythm guitar, composes music that blends jazz, classical, pop and the Latin sounds of his heritage. After signing with Paul McCartney?s publishing company, MPL Communications, in 2003, he released his debut album, ?The Journey Within,? and saw it soar to No. 3 on Billboard?s Contemporary Jazz Chart. Williams collaborated with other artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Patti Scialfa, Jon Secada and Dave Koz in 2009 for his second album, ?Moving Forward,? which came out on the Reform Records label.
