Female Musicians Paul Should Collaborate With?
-
Could he write songs/jam/record/duet with Pink, Avril Lavigne, Gwen Stefani, Florence Welch, Kate Bush, Adele, Rihanna, Polly Harvey, Julianne Hatfield, Katy Perry, Stevie Nicks, Chrissie Hynde, Paloma Faith, K.D. Lang, Grace Potter, just some names off the top of my head. I noticed there weren't any women in that other thread here concerning whom Paul should collaborate with on some music.
-
Chrissie Hynde would be great & make sense because she & Linda were fast friends.
-
This is actually a good idea for a thread. How about Madonna? Why? Well, so Paul can show her he isn't boring muscially. (They're friends or something but she did call him that)
-
Chrissie Hynde would be a fantastic choice.

He doesn't need to prove that he isn't boring. We already know he's not.

Paul wrote one of his most kick-ass tracks with a woman: "Live & Let Die."

Actually a few good suggestions were being made in the original collaboration thread - and I mentioned Chrissie over there several days ago! But will throw out a few more like: Beth Hart Bonnie Raitt Alicia Keys and will mention Kim Deal again because a) I can totally see it and it would kick ***!

Its always good to have a girl in the band for those harmonies. then the guys don't need to sing like panzies
but seriously folks, the only female collab I might want to hear would be him and maybe someone like Tina Turner (! you like that call audi!). or an older black soul singer or something. that could be sweet. otherwise I just don't think it would end up striking a chord over here.
girls in the band for hamonies though yes.
-
Whatever it takes to get Tina out of retirement (again)!
-
The Sonic Youth rocker
How about Delores O'Rhiordan of Cranberries. Sinead O'Connor
Perhaps a duet or two with Beyonce, reminiscent of his assocation with the leading male pop star then, Michael Jackson. To score some hits.
-
I have to say Bic Runga Great lyricist, great songwriter

Loved "Get Back" at the Princes Trust concert many years ago, lots of chemistry between the two of them.
