Well, according to yet another "credible" news source, there is no wedding this weekend: http://www.accesshollywood.com/source-paul-mccartney-and-nancy-shevell-not-marrying-this-weekend_article_53516
Despite reports that Sir Paul McCartney and longtime girlfriend Nancy Shevell are set to wed in just days, Access Hollywood has learned there will be no nuptials for the couple this weekend. A source close to the couple told Access the reported wedding at the former Beatle?s farmhouse in Sussex, England will not take place this weekend.
So either Paul and Nancy postponed it because word leaked out. Or they're trying to throw the hounds off the scent by planting this story. Either way, I don't see why people can't just let THEM announce their own marriage, whenever it happens. It's been all over Twitter and the usual news sites that he's getting married, all based on one anonymously sourced story in U.S. Weekly.

The radio said it would be the 23rd of September or something.....Really soon! Apparently a small family occasion at is home in Sussex!.. Oooo my neck of the woods... Good luck Paul & Nancy!!

Oh, I'd have a few hounds on my trail if it was me. But I wondered if they would call it off if word leaked out. I want the, "Surprise! We're already married annoucement and here's the photos taken by my brother" story. (Or have a Halloween wedding with a werewolf minister. It's not too late and I know the minister)

At least I've got more time to find some gladrags to wear to the knees up at the nightime do. Go on Paul I dare ya to invite one or two of us lot..... We'll behave, I promise.... -

Personally, I don't know if I'd have a good time in that crowd. Are they fun or stuffy? Would I enjoy the conversations? (I'll take for granted I'd enjoy the food and music). Rich people can be pretty boring especially when they're worried about their impression.

Not that I've used it myself.... .Not every girl wants to get married. I've been pressured into relationships by guys way way more then they pressured me. Especially with regards to moving in (which I really hate).

Somehow I doubt they would marry so close to Linda's birthday (24th) but who knows?

Not that I've used it myself.... Paul used to refer to "going steady" with Jane Asher (most recently in the Wingspan interview w/Mary) and look how he remained "footloose and fancy free" during that relationship!

I wish I could trade places with Nancy..but since that's not happening I wish them both many years of happiness together. I really think she is good for him
