          This article confirms Paul sings backing vocals. You have to really listen to hear, but he's there. I think it is a great collaboration and I look forward to hearing more from them. As my not-so-favorite singer Taylor Swift says, "haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate."

                The song at least was better than I was expecting from Mr. Kardashian. Goes on for 45 seconds too long, but didn't cause a multitude of rumbles in my stomach. Still, Paul's involvement seems most minimal for it to be a true "collaboration".

                  As I'd predicted, the track is a worldwide hit: #1 in Brazil -- #1 in Denmark -- Top 5 in Australia and Finland. #3 in the U.S. #5 in the UK.

                    Not a fan of Kanye, but not a hater either. I was pleasantly surprised, even though it took me a day to actually listen. My daughter, who is a big Kanye fan, doesn't like when he attempts to sing, and listened to it before me and insisted I listen. Not sure I'd like to hear Paul rap on anything, but this is quite lovely and at least Paul has his name on a top ten singles list again.

                        Actually, in terms of the song's content, it's another Stevie Wonder -- as this song has much more in common with "Ebony & Ivory" than, say, "Say Say Say." The only thing Kanye West and MJ have in common is race -- and even that's debatable.

                          I like the song. In fact, I may buy the CD. I think it is cool Paul is collaborating, even playing a supporting role, given his status in the music biz. Still, I can't see anyone, at least with this song, saying "It's a great Paul McCartney song!" even if he co-wrote it. WE all know he did. But regular people listening to music will not make that connection. It is not "McCartneyesque" in any way. Which is why it is so cool. His piano playing us very soulful!

                            Paul McCartney can whip out some funky piano chords when he has to ("Voice" and "Write Away" are great examples).

                              I suspect he left lots of fingerprints on the only instrument played during the entire song (which just happens to provide the melody for the song and the one minute plus closing solo). Other than that, you're right.

The lyrical context is from the perspective of an outsider, from a spiritual place, speaker to the singer. In this context, the autotune actually conveys this feeling well. Paul deserves to be back to the top of the charts in the U.S.!

                                          This song will be in the top of the charts because of Kayne not because Paul is featured. I would rather see Paul reach the top of the charts on his own solo work not on the back of Kayne and I fully understand that will not happen.

                                            I get what you're saying. But from everything I've read, this is a true collaboration. They wrote the song together from scratch. Its not like they took a Kanye song & put Paul's name on it to give Kanye some "artistic validation". People will give Kanye a bad time because of his past behavior/his wife, but his talent cant be dismissed. Just look at the allmusic reviews of his past albums.
