Predictions. I'm sure Paul will be doing music for at least another decade. I hope. Regardless, any thoughts on projects he should do or some things you think he will do in future solo music. Any ideas?

I know he's at work on an animated movie soundtrack, and he tentatively has plans to do another Fireman album. That second one I would definitely like to see. I would love to see him do an intimate concert somewhere where he pulls out old obscure songs from his solo catalogue and plays them for the fans, then puts that out as a live CD/DVD. I would much rather see this than yet another live tour CD. I think it would be great if his next new "Paul McCartney" studio album (maybe after a Fireman album) were all acoustic-based, similar to the sound of "Early Days" and "Get Me Out Of Here." I believe it would sound honest and exciting, and I think it would be a big seller (I'm not joking) because this is what music fans expect of someone his age. Bob Dylan and Neil Diamond and Johnny Cash all had career resurgences when they went back to a more basic, less-produced approach. I'm not saying it would be a blockbuster album with hit singles, but certainly bigger than "New" anyway.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Couldn't agree more Favorite Thing. I am hoping that after this tour, Paul stays off the road for the next year or two concentrating on new music. Unlike many of his contemporaries, he still can write good to great new music. I'm also hoping that he does a new Pop/Rock studio CD with Giles Martin being his main producer. Giles was basically the main producer for "New" and I think that Giles proved that he has the similar positive qualities as his Dad (George) for Paul. If Paul follows this trend (writing new music and getting off doing these long tours) the real fans have a better chance of Paul doing a special concert concentrating on his new music and Solo songs. I would love an Unplugged type of Concert but with Paul concentrating on his own songs from his Solo career. If he gets off the road from doing his long world tours (and doing the same Beatles/Wings hits) he would have much more time to do a few special shows concentratiing on the music from a new CD plus other Solo songs he has never done before.

I'd love that, but I don't think Paul would subject himself to Godrich's rules again.

He's happily married with a great woman, he's flying high again (just like in 00's when he met Heather and made Driving Rain). So I think he has a lot to do in the world of music... I just hope his voice doesn't get older anymore. I would love to hear a fresh album like New but produced with just one producer. New sounds great but is not homogeneous.
