Worst McCartney album?

MEMORY ALMOST FULL isn't a favourite of mine either, but I don't see how an album with "Only Mama Knows," "You Tell Me," "See Your Sunshine" and "Mr. Bellamy" can be considered "bad."
I do know however that See Your Sunshine is a contender for worst ever song by a Beatle. In fact, Yoko's 'Mummy's only looking for her Hand in the Snow' is a masterpiece by comparison.
Even if that were true, it would still "lose out" to "Darkroom..."

I don't really understand the hate for Pipes of Peace on this forum. It looks like I'm that album's only defender; perhaps I'll have to open a thread and go through it track by track, like a teaching assistant. Not that it will make any difference - there's a marked tendency towards closed minds among Paul fans in general. Everyone has an opinion, not only an opinion but the opinion, yadayada...
You should write this thread on Pipes of Peace. I'd like to read it.

far be it from me to stick up for 'memory almost dull' but it does have too many great tracks to be his worst. yes its badly produced,yes it was a huge let down and yes i never play it at all. however it does contain 3/4 excellent songs and 1 or 2 decent ones. i have to dissagree with you squid!

oh man cmon, does that bass line not count for anything?! Or the bridge? Yoko's song sucks in comparison! There are worse songs that I?ve heard from Paul, 'So Bad' being one. You probably love So Bad. 
I need to go find some wallpaper and just put it up! LP, you like that Broadstreet soundtrack huh? It seems like just a lot of needless rehashing in really mundane ways, though the mundane soundtrack as used in the film sort of worked.. honestly I don?t even mind the film, would like to see it again. Its not any good obviously, but a bit of fun. The soundtrack in a way its just like an oddball greatest hits comp, with the new song NMLN which I don?t especially care for.. the versions if I remember just sound about the same if not worse than the original, but with unnecessary orchestrations. Easily the most forgettable Macca album for me. it doesn?t exist to me I know your choice for worst is McCartney 2. And its tough to argue the overall quality of the music compared on the two albums. However, if I have a choice of listening to GMRTBS or Wild Life, McCartney 2, Speed of Sound.. I?m choosing either of the latter 3. I definitely don?t want to hear the orchestrated Beatles songs.. why would I? I freaking own Revolver on vinyl baby 
just don't need an orchestrated 'For No One' or those other songs.., or Yesterday etc Squid, I too would like to read your Pipes review. would like to read what you see in that album. I do hear some interesting melodies, but you have to really wait for them. And even then the Macca sweetness is down so low that its basically only percievable to a trained ear. per se. I think POP seems a lot worse whan you don't care for the MJ collab tracks. which is how I see it. -

Perhaps, michelley, if I get a bit of time away from keeping body and soul together, which is difficult at the mo.

My least played Macca album is Wings at the speed of Sound, too many of the songs have the backing band taking lead vocal

You are a typical harcore McCartney fan,you dont have the same favorites like the wide audience but you are not unreasonable like squid
i find something great/good on all McCartney's albums, every album is different, not many, if any artists you can say that about.

hey, im not crazy here! think about all of the great songs. "my love", "get on the right thing", "When the night", "big barn bed", "little lamb" and then that medley. my god...that album is just GREAT.
