Reminds me how great of a combination that Paul and Linda made in their children's faces. They were meant to be!

These are fantastic. There's one of HM and him in recent years slipped in there. Funny to see the contrast though - she's all cross armed sitting straight up but Linda is in his lap, arms around him, very affectionate.

The woman with Linda in the first 2 pics is the late Paula Yates, who went on to interview Linda a couple of years later:

Yep, and I am still bleeding with that whole tragedy.... Michael Hutchence. The greatest Rock Star. He was a gem. One of the Greatest. Brilliant!.....A very sad affair. The whole thing. It's so sad. For all involved.

Paula, ex-wife of Bob Geldof. Michael and her got together. Had a daughter. Michael, who did not get on well with Geldof, died in mysterious circumstances. Ruled as suicide. Paula was never able to get over it, died of a heroin overdose. Geldof, ironically, adopted Michael and Paula's daughter. Sadly, Geldof and Paula's daughter just recently died. Heroin too may have been involved.

Linda and Paul look so sweet together. Makes me wish Linda were still alive and still living with Paul. Nancy is very nice too but...I think we all know Linda a bit better. I guess Im still trying to get used to the idea of seeing Paul with Nancy even though she is a very nice girl.

Wow! Both Bob Geldof and Paula's daughter died recently? Thanks for the explanation. I had misinterpreted your statement and thought Bob was dead too! Clearly he's not: http://www.bing.com/search?q=bob+geldof&form=HPCNHP&pc=HPDTDFJS&refig=220E2AF9490F4F7A88939CB685474FBB&pq=bob+ge&sc=8-6&sp=2&qs=PA&sk=PA1

Yes, the whole Geldof/Yates saga is something else. Very sad. Bob and Paula were married several years and had 3 daughters. After the break-up, when Paula ran off with Hutchence, Bob got custody of the girls. Michael and Paula had one child together before his untimely death (auto-erotic asphyxiation). After Paula died of a heroin overdose, Bob actually fought for custody of Tiger Lily (Michael and Paula's daughter)- she is, after all, the half-sister of his 3 kids. I think that Michaels' parents half-heartedly opposed the custody arrangement. I was so sorry for Bob when daughter Peaches recently died. He has his problems too, but I think Bob Geldof is a pretty noble guy.

That's really sad about Bob Geldof's wife and daughter... heroin kills so many people, it's really sad It was really neat to see the photo's of Paul's art deco style office!! Thanks for the post ewanme ! I enjoyed seeing the full de Kooning painting and the other two illustrations too.. So nice to see the photos of Linda looking so relaxed. Someone mentioned Nancy and it seems that she is probably a very private person and/or just wants to avoid all the unwanted press that Heather is still experiencing. Can you blame her, I certainly can't. I heard Linda had a really difficult time of it with the Apple Scruffs and that they were very mean to her. Not very nice to deal with I'm sure.

Does anyone have any more photos of Paul at his office?
