Non-brazilian people attending concerts in Brazil
Hi! I wrote this message in a reply to a thread but I decided to create a new thread with this topic because it could help other people. Here's the thing: I'm new to the forum and I've never really used one of these before. As far as I can tell, this site is full of people from all over the world so I'd like to know if someone who is not from Brazil is attending the Sao Paulo concert (or any of the other 2)? I'm from Buenos Aires (Argentina) and I'd really would like to go but I was reading the Terms and Conditions of tudus.com.br and it says that they only admit credit cards issued in Brazil. Last year I went to Belo Horizonte with a friend of mine and we had the same problem because the site ingresso.com wouldn't let us make the payment with our Visa credit card issued in Argentina. We ended up buying tickets from a scalper and they were ridiculously expensive.. I don't want to go through the same situation again. The thing is.. a friend of my friend went to Goiania and ingresso.com DID APPROVE his payment even though it was made with an argentinian (American Express) credit card. Soooo I'd really would like to know how does this restriction works. I'll try to buy the tickets with 2 credit cards (Visa and Master) on Thursday but I'm afraid that the site will reject them. What should I do? Is there something I can do to avoid the site's restriction? Has anyone ever been to a brazilian concert? If so, could you buy your ticket with a credit card issued somewhere else? Any other information you can provide will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
