I hope it doesn't. So far, I think all of Paul's solo albums (unlike Ringo's, for instance) have been released on vinyl and I would be very disappointed if this were to end now (especially as there does seem to be a resurgence in LP sales over the past few years).

It'll be released on vinyl. Just hang in there. They don't always release vinyl at the same time as CD's anymore. For one thing LP's are a lot better quality than they used to be, more like boutique items than mass produced, so they take longer. All the big U.S. record pressing plants were dismantled back in the 90's.

Just received my copy from Amazon . Beautiful Cover , a Color Variation of Deluxe cd and the back is the regulär CDs Cover in red. Gatefold sleeve, 180g. D D D So far I've been reluctant to tear the wrapping, but there is this thick booklet inside so I guess... wink

Hello from Austria, I just came back from my record dealer with the NEW vinyl in my hands
Yes, there is a booklet inside and the liner notes are printed all over the gatefold inner cover, at last at readable size 
It comes in two colours: the front side is the blue "bonus" variant, the back the red "normal" one. I will listen to it on my good old B&O system now.

Have the digital version which is just fine w/ me. Just unloaded about 500 of my close to 1500 albums as well as a pile of VHS music videos. Feels good to purge

just saying to others, there are good vinyl copies pressed cause mine sounds awesome. It's a really cool package id say. Queenie Eye really stood out, very interesting layers of sound in that. Alligator, New, all songs, awesome record. -
Got mine at Amoeba in Hollywood on Saturday. Opening it tomorrow. Happy Christmas!
