who has MET Paul?!!!
-
Hi Everyone, I am going to be scrambling to buy Presale tickets for Paul's show in Seattle tomorrow, as I'm sure many of you will doing as well. I am looking to get in touch with any of you who have actually met Paul in person -- either at one of his concerts, or by any other means -- as it is my lifelong dream to meet my love and I hope to try to meet him in July when he comes to my hometown of Seattle!!! If any of you have met him and have any advice for me regarding how I could reach him myself, I would GREATLY appreciate it! Thanks to all of you. And good luck with your ticket-buying pursuits! Best of thoughts.

I have dreams all of the time about meeting Paul. Then I wake up and am totally upset that it wasn't real. Anyhow...I have a blog all about people who have met Paul and the other Beatles. Maybe you would like to read some of the stories? http://meetthebeatlesforreal.blogspot.com

i was lucky enough to met him 4 times,(i've got a guitar signed and received a compliment from him) luckiest days of my life...

I did with my son, during Paul's Up and Coming Tour in 2010. This link has the whole fantastic experience!! http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=77256

I've been lucky enough to meet him--very nice guy.
He let me ramble on for a bit before he signed my arm.
It wasn't during a concert, though!
No waffles here...

I actually have seen your blog before and love it! Do you happen to have any connections with people (through your blog) who have met him who you think could give me some good advice? I would really appreciate it!

That story is incredible. You and your son are very lucky -- he will have a wonderful story to tell his children and to cherish. I am hoping to find enough money to get a soundcheck package, because I know that would give me a better chance of meeting him. I am a little confused how you purchase them though. Do you know the rough cost of what the cheapest soundcheck package would be?

Thank you...we sure are!! The cheapest package including the soundcheck is $1500...it's called the Hot Sound Package. Good Luck!

Met him in 2006! Asked him if he would do Mull of Kintyre in the states, and he said he tries to do what he thinks the fans want! He held my hand while I talked to him and signed a cd and DVD for me!!

I'm a fan in the States and I would L O V E to hear him sing Mull of Kintyre here. Just sayin'....

I spoke to him in Utah in 2010 when he arrived at the arena but it was incredibly brief. I would love to be able to hug him and thank him for being such an incredible influence on my life for as long as I can remember. If the second Orlando show happens I am saying screw my credit card bill, buying Hot Sound, and crossing my fingers my chances go up.

In Detroit, when he said, "If you love someone, you have to tell them" after singing Here Today, I screamed out, "I love you" and he replied, "I love you too, babe." I'll have to content myself with that.

Amoeba night after the show! I waved Hello Goodbye just as every other screaming fan did as his car drove off. Then suddenly I found my legs sprinting for his car. Oblivious to how ridiculous I must have looked at 40 years of age. Eventually 2 blocks further down the street at a stop light he rolled down the window! Maybe 2 fans and a two man TV crew made it. He signed a Ram album for someone and said hello real quick. We touched like a half hand shake, but that was all I needed. I touched GOD my friends! Though it was only a quick touch it was like a bear hug for me. Anyway at no surprise he was way cool about it. The only thing I could say at the moment was "I love you, my family loves you and thanks for all the music". The souvenir for me was the TV crew, the next day it made it to You Tube. It must be out there still, if not I have it at home somewhere I can post it. It's actually funny, you get to see our little mob running all the way up til where his rolls the window down. Fun night.

Luck and a sign that a student made for me to hold up at soundcheck.
I got a few minutes, a hug, and an autograph on my arm that is my only tattoo.
